Match my boots!
There is nothing more special than a personalised gift. A bride to be got in touch asking us to make a custom sporran for her fiancee to wear at their wedding. He would be wearing purple leather ghillie brogue boots and she wanted something to match. She knew he would love a sporran with a modern twist so shared sketches for us to work from.
As always our artisans were up to the challenge! Sourcing matching leather was not an option so they hand died and textured the leather before working meticulously to the design. I think we can all agree that the result is spectacular!

Ali approach us with the idea to make a personalised sporran for each of his groomsmen. The challenge was simple. Design and laser a personalised pattern into a beautiful pigskin sporran to match their wedding outfit that they could then enjoy for years to come.
Challenge accepted! With information on each groomsman, we set to work designing and lasering the patterns into the raw leather. The team at W.E.Scott and Sons then did what they do best, creating beautiful sporrans!

Stephen contacted us to enquire about one of our existing products, which he hoped we could make up for him in a natural leather. Natural leathers are not dyed during the tanning process and instead take colour as the leather ages. The transformation depends on the leather but an almost white natural leather can age into a deep chocolate brown over time, completely unique and full of character.
This particular sporran is make by a local saddle maker who is incredibly passionate about leather and the craft. To work with someone half way across who had the same appreciation for leather was a delight!
